Rise Wall Lamp
The Rise Wall Lamp has been created by Marianne Andersen for the brand Normann Copenhagen. Established in 1999, Normann Copenhagen was founded on the principle of 'making the ordinary extraordinary through great design'. They have a strong track record in sustainability and holistic design practice, supplied by a strong design team, of which Swedish designer Marianne Andersen is a part. She graduated in 2013 and has exhibited successfully at many trade fairs since.
The Rise Wall Lamp is simple and timeless in style. However, as with many examples of simple design that works well, the standard of workmanship and materials is very high. It is made from finely powdered steel, with a light oak base, and is a simple bucket shape which, set at a useful, but interesting angle, provides practical light, and a design highlight. The Rise Wall Lamp's dimensions are 17cm in length, 9.7cm in height and 10cm in diameter, and it is supplied with a 200cm cable. The appropriate E14 bulb can be ordered under accessories. Minimalist in design, the light can be placed anywhere, either singly or in sets. However, the varied colours in which the Rise Wall Lamp is available can be used for contrast, or to blend.
