Skagerak Between Lines Garden Deckchair
The Between Lines Garden Deckchair has been created by Stine Weigelt for the label Skagerak. Danish designer Weigelt's designs are driven by curiosity and the will to master and challenge production materials and techniques to optimise the aesthetics and functionality of a product. The Between Lines Garden Deckchair exemplifies this. Made of teak wood that is FSC® certified, it has a long backrest and seat that is slanted downwards, allowing hours of comfortable lounging outdoors. Over time, the teak develops a silvery grey patina. This is because the teak is untreated. The design of the chair was inspired by the classic Adirondack deck chair that is well known and loved for its comfort and support for the back. It is a perfect balance between American ergonomics and Weigelt's Scandinavian design tradition. The Between Lines Garden Deckchair has a width of 61.5cm, a depth of 93.5cm and a height of 90cm.
