Quasar LED Lamp with Battery
The Quasar LED Lamp with Battery has been created by Samy Rio for the brand Petite Friture. French industrial designer Rio combines craft and industry to blend traditional production methods and materials with modern technology. This blend is clear to see in the Quasar LED Lamp with Battery.
Inspired by the organic shape of bamboo shoots, Quasar is an outdoor-friendly lamp with a bottle-shaped body made from partially anodised aluminium. The top part of the lamp includes a braided weatherproof cable to carry the lamp and hang it if needed. A round ABS shade has also been added, protecting the lamp in extreme weather conditions. A three step dimmer makes it possible to set light intensity, while the lamp has a micro USB-C charging cable. It takes four and a half hours to reach 100% charge, and it will keep going for six to 24 hours depending on the chosen light intensity.
The Quasar LED Lamp with Battery has a height of 26cm a diameter of 17cm and a base diameter of 7cm, with a weight of 1.3kg. The charging cable is 100cm long and the lamp is available in sienna, natural aluminium, olive green, emerald green and black.
