The tabletop sits on a frame made of steel with a lacquer finish. The legs are also unconventional. They are also thin slats rather than tubular or blocks as is customary with the legs that support a table. The joints are also done differently. The space between the frame and the tabletop creates the illusion that the top is floating and not attached to the frame.
