The Top Top For Dr. Yes Garden Table Ø60cm Frame Round was designed by Philippe Starck for Kartell.
The company was established in Milan, Italy in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, originally selling accessories to the automotive industry. From 1963 onwards, the company moved on to selling home furnishings and various lifestyle goods, and finally achieved worldwide success thanks to the work of Italian designer, architect and wife of Giulio Castelli, Anna Castelli Ferrieri, who is known for her industrial designs and skill with plastics. The recipient of countless awards, the Kartell designs have led to honourable accolades such as the internationally recognised Red Dot Design Award in 2013, as well as the Good Design Award in 2012.
Simply modern, with minimalist inspiration, the Top Top Dr. Yes Table round features a contemporary industrial design favoured by the creator, Philippe Starck. The smooth, rounded melamine table top surface is propped up by a cross-shaped plastic support, which contains a metal core, and is in turn connected to a durable aluminium base. The Top Top For Dr. Yes Garden Table Ø60cm Frame Round is equally suitable for both indoor and outdoor use thanks to its sturdy construction.
