Horizon Sunrise Carpet
The Horizon Sunrise Carpet has been created by Moooi Carpets for the brand Moooi Carpets. This carpet's design is inspired by the sun rising at dawn. The rising sun is depicted with a light-coloured background, a lake in the middle and blue tones in the foreground. The painting represents a cool sunrise, the day still wet with dew as you might find on an autumn or winter morning.
The Horizon Sunrise Carpet has imagery that is so brilliantly portrayed because it is printed on a synthetic fabric known as polyamide. This synthetic fabric is made of polymers which is a type of nylon. This particular nylon is considered the strongest, so a very good choice for a carpet. Printing is done digitally using a Chromojet printer. Its high-resolution output delivers imprints that have very rich colour tones and sharply defined contrasts. The inkjets are computer controlled which ensures the exact colour tones are injected with precision.
The Horizon Sunrise Carpet comes in two sizes. There is a smaller one that has a diameter of 250cm while the larger one has a diameter of 350cm. Its prominent colours are blue, beige and black.
