Silhouette Tufting Rug
The Silhouette Tufting Rug has been created by Jaime Hayon for the brand Nanimarquina. This is the brand's pioneer outdoor hand-tufted rug that is made in India of 100% new wool that is sourced from the country. The wool is similar to New Zealand wool which is known for its high quality. The difference is that it has a raw base colour that is more intense. It is soft, warm, hypoallergenic and completely biodegradable.
The Silhouette Tufting Rug is made using hand tufting. This is a technique where strands are punched following a digital template of a design. The rug has a design made of playful, doodle-like lines and animated animals that give it a casual, informal look. It is ideal for informal spaces like family rooms and children's bedrooms and play rooms. It is also ideal for use in areas where children gather like daycare centres and nurseries.
The Silhouette Tufting Rug is available in two sizes. The smaller one has a width of 170cm and a length of 240cm while the larger one has a width of 200cm and a length of 300cm. It is available in multicolour with a white base that makes the colours stand out.
