The A1967 Suspension Lamp with Counterweight has a cone-shaped shade made of cotton canvas which is strong and durable. The designer is known for his love of brass. He incorporates it in the support underneath the shade that holds the light source. It has an intricate design made up of differently-sized hoops. The shiny metal has also been used as a counterweight on the suspension cable. The weight makes it possible to adjust the height of the lamp upwards or downwards to increase or reduce it. More brass has been used for the fasteners, supports and decoratively along the length of the cable.
The A1967 Suspension Lamp with Counterweight has a height of 20.3cm and a diameter of 56cm. Its cable which is made of gold-coloured fabric has a length of 380cm. Available in neutral colours that stand out against the brass, the lamp is not dimmable. It works with an E27 socket and the bulbs have to be purchased separately.
