The About a Chair AAC 222 2.0 Armchair Lacquered Oak has a singular shell made of 100% polypropylene which is a lightweight, hardy and weatherproof type of engineered plastic made from consumer waste like bottles. It has been shaped to cradle the body and provide supreme support and comfort. The backrest has an arched upper edge that extends forward to form high, sloped armrests. A rounded outer edge on the wide, deep seat completes the circle. The shell rests on a base made of lacquered oak. It has been sculpted into U-shaped frames that are attached on either side of the seat with additional bars to reinforce it. Each one of the outspread legs has a glider underneath.
