Counterbalance LED Floor Lamp
The Counterbalance LED Floor Lamp was created by Daniel Rybakken for the Luceplan label. Adaptable, reliable and possessing a streamlined look, this lamp will work well in studies, bedrooms and living rooms alike.
Rybakken is one of Norway's finest contemporary talents and is a regular partner in Luceplan projects. Winner of multiple Red Dot Awards and the prestigious Anders Jahre's Cultural Prize for Young Artists, he balances artistic instinct and practical engineering knowledge - resulting in a stream of popular lighting products.
The Counterbalance collection seeks to use space in a wholly new way. Resembling a children's mobile, lights in the series seem to hover in mid-air thanks to the intelligent balancing structure devised by Rybakken. In this case, he has come up with a perfectly proportioned floor lamp. Standing 170cm tall and 24cm wide, it features a compact aluminium shade which can be easily adjusted to the desired height with a slider on the main stem. This flexibility will make the Counterbalance LED Floor Lamp ideal for technical drafting tasks or for using in living rooms alongside coffee tables or reading chairs.
