Crystal Ice Carpet Round
The Crystal Ice Carpet Round has been created by Edward van Vliet for the brand Moooi Carpets. This carpet is a mix of the coolest shades of blue which is how the ice look is achieved. The centre of it has a blue star-shaped motif. It has some white on it as well which elevates the ice effect.
The graphics on the Crystal Ice Carpet Round come alive because of the way they are imprinted. Printing is finished digitally using a Chromojet 800 printer that can deliver spectacular accuracy with spectacular tones. This is because it can mix basic shades at a very high resolution which creates an unlimited and tone-rich mix of colours. The imagery is also so realistically depicted because of the fabric that it is printed on. It is printed on a type of synthetic fabric that is known as polyamide. One reason it is used for carpets is that it is a type of nylon that is exceptionally hardwearing. Another reason is that it takes dye very well so images that are printed on it come out looking very realistic.
The Crystal Ice Carpet Round is available in two sizes. One has a diameter of 250cm and the other one has a diameter of 350cm.
