J42 Armchair Beech
The J42 Armchair Beech has been created by Børge Mogensen for the brand HAY. It combines and represents both traditional craftsmanship and modernity. The end result is a supremely comfortable chair with a timeless style.
The J42 Armchair Beech is made of beech wood and beech veneer. The wood and veneer are FSC®-certified which indicates they have been sourced from responsibly managed forests. The armchair has been finished with an eco-friendly water-based paint which has a low pollutant load. These eco-friendly production materials earn the armchair a place in the category of Sustainable Choice products. Made for hours of comfortable lounging, it has a backrest that is high and wide. It is slightly reclined and is made from spindles. The seat which is also generously sized is made of moulded plywood that is overlaid with beech veneer. Armrests on either side enhance the armchair's comfort. The base is made up of rounded legs that are angled outwards to a small degree. This makes for a stronger and more stable chair.
