Malmö 395 Armchair
The functional Malmö 395 Armchair was created by Simone Mandelli, Michele Cazzaniga and Antonio Pagliarulo for the exclusive Italian design company Pedrali.
Founded in 1963 in Monico al serio in Italy, Pedrali has vast experience in producing beautifully crafted contemporary furnishing for homes, public spaces and office environments. The team of designers are diverse and enjoy experimenting with innovative ideas while still using simple materials such as wood, plastic and metal. Mandelli, Cazzaniga and Pagliarulo are co-founders of the Collectivo network that brings together highly skilled industrial designers from around the world.
This trio of designers created the stylish Nordic influenced Malmö 395 Armchair, which offers versatile seating that will look equally stunning in a dining room or living room. The chair frame is expertly constructed from ash and has a curved plywood shell that has a certain natural charm and is exceedingly comfortable to sit on. The organic quality of the Malmö 395 Armchair has ensured its popularity and it has been the recipient of several awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award. Measuring 78cm high and 57.5cm at its widest, this elegant armchair has timeless appeal.
