Merkur Dining Chair with Armrest
The Merkur Dining Chair with Armrest has been created by Skogstad & Wærnes for the brand Audo. It was originally designed for use in the Oslo Stock Exchange which is one of Norway's most important buildings. It is named Merkur after the Roman god of trade. It is the designers' take on the classic dining chair.
The Merkur Dining Chair with Armrest is made of oak. It pays tribute to Nordic traditional tenets with a brilliant display of craftsmanship; the woodwork is precise and dedicated. The chair has a wide backrest. It has a bar at the top which is curved inwards and a slab in the middle. The generously sized seat is also curved, with armrests that enhance comfort. The legs are made of rounded wooden bars that resemble spindles. They have gliders underneath.
The Merkur Dining Chair with Armrest has a width of 46cm, a height of 78cm and a depth of 52cm. It is available in natural or dark, stained oak. It can be stacked for convenient storage. Apart from use in homes at kitchen and dining tables, it can be used in commercial spaces like hotels, restaurants, cafeterias and other hospitality establishments.
