The PC Portable LED Lamp with Battery was designed by Pierre Charpin for the manufacturer HAY.
Pierre Charpin is a multi-talented designer with many awards to his name, including the Comparsso d'Oro. A teacher and designer extraordinaire, Pierre has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the design industry and his works have been exhibited in London and Paris.
The PC Portable LED Lamp with Battery is from a new line of lighting Pierre designed for HAY. This lamp represents the philosophy of its creator, combining sensual styling with functionality. It is portable and can be used indoors, outdoors, in the office and the home. It features a tulip-shaped ABS body and a translucent polypropylene internal diffuser under the lampshade that gives off a soft light to illuminate recesses and outdoor spaces. The lamp is wireless and its rechargeable battery can last up to 10 hours. It comes with a plastic USB cable and is splash-proof, making it ideal for the garden and patio. The lamp is 22cm high, 14cm in diameter and weighs only 300 grams.
