PCH05 Fruit Bowl
This strikingly beautiful Alessi PCH05/30 Fruit Bowl was designed by Pierre Charpin for the manufacturer Alessi.
Based near Paris, Charpin has teamed up with many of the iconic names in French design, including Hermès, Ligne Rosset, Cristalleries de Saint Louis and Sevrès porcelain. His originality is undeniable, but it clearly combines well with traditional styles and methods, breathing new life into established looks and forms. This is exactly what we see in his Alessi PCH05/30 Fruit Bowl - a classically elegant table piece that works equally well in a modern interior or in a more traditional home.
Constructed from a carefully chosen grade of polished stainless steel, there's a real finesse in the design and creation of the Alessi PCH05/30 Fruit Bowl. Measuring 30cm across and 12cm high, it's small enough to fit any size of table setting while still making a visual impact. Designed as a conventional fruit bowl, it would look beautiful with a colourful selection of seasonal fruit. However, it's a perfect space for the imagination - it might hold a selection of steel or wooden spheres for a truly original centrepiece.
