Planner™ MC520 Shelf
The Planner™ MC520 Shelf has been created by Paul McCobb for the brand Fritz Hansen. The late American industrial designer McCobb was a multi-talented artist who was also a painter and textile designer. He played a significant role in popularising modern living with his contemporary furniture designs. Many of them such as the Planner™ MC520 Shelf are still appreciated and sought after today. The shelving unit has the designer's hallmark minimalist, elegant silhouette. The unit can be configured in three different ways to suit personal needs and preferences. It has distinctive look with shelves that have warm tones of oak or veneer that contrast with the dark colour of the steel frame. The unit has three long lower shelves and a divided shelf at the last two levels which have no shelves on the other side but a crisscross pattern produced by steel rods.
The Planner™ MC520 Shelf has a height of 165cm, a width of 120.7cm and a depth of 38.1cm. It can be used to hold and display potted plants, framed photos or knick-knacks in a living room or bedroom. It can also be configured with only the lower shelves to hold toys in a child's room or a playroom.
