The Pomander Noir Carpet was designed by Tricia Guild for the manufacturer Moooi Carpets.
Tricia Guild is renowned for her wallpaper and fabric collections. She established the Designers Guild range in 1970. She has received several awards, including the OBE in 2008 for her services to global interior design and The Homes and Gardens Classic Design Awards Lifetime Achievement in 2007. She has a retail store on the Kings Road, London, and showrooms in some of the world's fashion capitals, including Paris, New York, and Munich.
This Pomander Noir Carpet has a delightful floral design featuring delicate, open hellebore flowers on a muted, dark grey tulip-inspired background. The high-quality floral design of this carpet was achieved by digital print techniques that ensure each hellebore bloom looks lifelike and displays fine detail. Splashes of vivid colour bring this unique carpet to life. This floral design is part of the printed linen fabric line-up from the Designers Guild. The multicoloured, broadloom carpet is fabricated from durable polyamide and has a length of 300cm and width of 200cm.
