Re-Rug 3 Rug
The Re-Rug 3 Rug has been created by Nani Marquina for the brand Nanimarquina. This Sustainable Choice rug is made of 50% recycled wool and 50% virgin wool. The latter is sourced from New Zealand and is widely recognised for its premium quality.
The technique that is used to make the Re-Rug 3 Rug is dhurrie weaving which is done on a handloom. This technique involves crossing the warp and weft strands over each other. The warp is made of virgin wool while the weft is made of reused wool. Both strands are made up of different colours. When they are woven together using this weaving technique, the result is a strong, durable rug in terms of quality. The rug has a flat surface with an intriguing colour combination formed by combining the strands that have different colours. The rug is divided into two vertical halves that have different colour tones with differently coloured tassels on each half.
The Re-Rug 3 Rug comes in a smaller size that has a width of 170cm and a length of 240cm and a larger one that has a width of 200cm and a length of 300cm. It is available in gold and grey.
