Tense LED Suspension Lamp
The Tense LED Suspension Lamp has been created by Panter & Tourron for the brand New Works. Named for its 'tense' stretched diffuser, this elegant suspension lamp almost resembles a floating cloud with its delicacy and attractive form. It will work well in living rooms, dining rooms, lounges, and bedrooms alike.
The Tense LED Suspension Lamp strikes the eye with its curved diffuser. Made from the elastic material Tyvek, it has been stretched cleverly to fit a round carbon fibre frame. Two sizes are available: a smaller model measuring 90cm by 80cm and a larger version measuring 120cm by 110cm. Both models are just 15cm high, and both come with a height adjustable 500cm long cable.
The Tyvek used for the diffuser membrane limits glare and softens the light produced, while it is also 100% recyclable when the light is no longer needed. The light source is also dimmable if desired, and has a maximum brightness level of 3000K. At ceiling level, the Tense LED Suspension Lamp connects with a 19.5cm wide and 5cm high canopy, which contains excess cord and the lamp's drivers. It uses a single LED-unit bulb and the light source is included in the delivery.
