Maija Puoskari designed this item featuring precise finishes, functionality and a strong sense of organic form. By working on numerous exhibition projects and running a design studio in Helsinki, she has acquired prizes and grants, displaying her Terho lamp project in international trade fairs. Maija Puoskari drew inspiration from nature when she sculpted Terho into an organic form. Terho, the Finnish word for acorn, depicts the pleasant natural acorn shapes.
A unique combination in the Terho Suspension Lamp S is the mouth-blown opal glass and FSC®-certified linden wood with its special hue and a cable 200cm in length. The union looks fresh and appealing. The pendant may be hung individually or in clusters of different lamp sizes with a similar design. The illuminant has a diameter of 13.5cm and measures 21.5cm in height. The wood top is available in different colours. Ideal for both residential and public setups, it blends perfectly with Liuku pendants by Maija Puoskari.
