The Bouquet Suspension Lamp
The Bouquet Suspension Lamp was designed by Sinja Svarrer Damkjær for the Danish company Le Klint.
Founded in 1943 by P.V Jensen, Le Klint is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The company has collaborated with highly skilled artists such as Sinja Svarrer Damkjær, a Danish designer whose final project was to create a lamp. She was inspired by nature and spring flowers in creating the classical cross pleating.
The Bouquet Suspension Lamp is a unique piece that has a modern look and can be used anywhere in the home. Made of plastic, linen and metal, its design was inspired by flowers and this is apparent in its shape and design. It gives off a soft atmospheric light and has a plaited fabric coated cable that gives it a stylish look. It has a hand folded shade which has been intricately crafted to give it a unique and beautiful appearance. Even when its illumination is off, this lamp looks appealing and attractive. The linen wicks away moisture and heat, thereby increasing the durability of the lamp. The lamp stands at a height of 21cm, 30cm or 45cm and its diameter is 20cm, 30cm or 45cm.
