The excentric Tour table was designed in 1993 by Gae Aulenti for the manufacturer Fontana Arte.
As well as in the living room as in the office or waiting room, the Tour Table, this extravagant piece of furniture, is a real eye-catcher. Its transparent table top made of cut Float glass, 15 mm thick, reveals what makes the Tour Table so special: It rests on four Pivot tires, that are mounted to the table top by four stainless steel discs. The forks are chrome-plated and the tire cover is made of solid rubber. Especially beautiful: The combination of transparent glass with the coolness of the forks and the wheels made of chrome.
